As of yesterday, my Nexus Tools installer for ADB/Fastboot/etc. is six years old! The first release was on December 11, 2013.
Now I'm working on a tag-based bookmarking system with bookmark sharing, and next I'm very keen to combine results from multiple ATOM/OpenSearch-compatible search engines.
At the same time I'm always keen to hear from others tackling this problem! My solutions alone aren't enough.
Most people seem to think this is a solved problem, but have you seen the damage Google's, Facebook's, et al's huerstics are doing!?
It’s written in python/flask/vuejs and I need help because of health issues I’m unable to work a lot on it anymore, if you are interested to help me on some of the issues and more specially the ActivityPub part, you can contact me through:
boosts appreciated, thanks.
helpful website and possible youtube alternative
If you need background noises, soundscapes, white noise whatever stuff of that kind to work or concentrate or just to chill and usually get this from YouTube there's a website called mynoise.net where you can chose from a huge selection of different kinds of noises, soundscapes etc!! It's my fav website to help me concentrate and even helped to calm me down during anxiety attacks and sensory overload in the past
The approach to content by RSS and microblogging platforms differs both by approach and scale. My RSS feeds are limited to about 60 sites, and most only have a handful of articles every day. Keeping copies of that data isn't unfeasible. On the other hand it isn't unusual for people to follow thousands of other users on microblogging platforms, sometimes with each doing hundreds of posts per day.
You can replace dozens of badly integrated tools with a single solution for team productivity: #Nextcloud
Find out what a content collaboration platform is and what benefits it brings!
People that think Microsoft is trying to "Embrace" Linux as part of their classic strategy are way more optimistic than me.
We are way past the Extinguish phase. Linux on the desktop has not been a threat to Windows in years. Microsoft just feels safe enough that it doesn't need to sabotage so much anymore.
@fitheach Yes, most platforms (including the broader Web itself) have this dynamic. But for YouTube, I'd still say it's their recommendations engine that enforces it.
Because if YouTube weren't recommending other YouTube videos (or if it reliably recommended videos outside of YouTube) then it wouldn't matter if you put your videos on YouTube.
